Say hello to another side of me

The past few days had been a painful roller coaster ride. I had to swallow a lot of bitter pills for me to finally learn.

Thing is...It's not a matter of ideology, it's a matter of responsibility.

Bummer, right? :(

Karma's biting my ass back:

1. I woke up too late for NSTP.
2. I locked myself out--long story.
3. I had to break my lock.
4. I happened to wear bloodstained pants today.

It's RAINING

This is insane!!!

Earlier the weather was scorching--which was natural, because it's the dry season here in the Philippines.

But just around half an hour ago, it started raining really really really hard! And it hasn't stopped until now. Grabe, that's seriously screwed up.

Ladidadada.

Nothing.

Dries Dries

Currently, I'm obsessing over Dries Van Noten's collections. For two seasons now, I've been fascinated by his designs. The patterns were minimalistic, but the idea was brilliant. The fabric and execution, the strategic draping.

I love.

Let's take it slow

If fashion had a zodiac sign, it would be Gemini.

No, I'm not trying to correlate this to my self, but I'm just saying that it can be as mercurial as a Gemini. Fickle, bordering to indecisive too. But that's fashion, the industry.

But knowing this, I'm not in a hurry. I'm starting early but I'm not competing with anybody else but myself. I want to learn all the rules and the ins and outs before I go play the Big League. I'm inspired but I'm letting all my ideas boil in me.

Of all the things that I put out, I don't like half-baked ideas. I may think quickly, but sometimes, you really just need to let it stew in a crockpot, you know?

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven---Ecclesiastes 3:1

Croquembouche

Many may argue, but I say that Beard Papa produces the best cream puff on earth. The size is generous and the crunch of the choux pastry is a lovely contrast to the delicate vanilla-bean cream.

Cream puffs make me do my happy face, which could be roughly translated as ^___^ if net-speaking.
